Naturopathy

What is naturopathy?

The practice of naturopathy is guided by a philosophy which emphasises a holistic approach to health management where natural treatments are utilised to promote individuals' inherent self-healing process. Naturopathic practice is based on treatment principles that embrace traditional and research-based knowledge to achieve restoration and maintenance of optimum wellbeing. They look beyond symptoms to identify and treat underlying causes of illness by considering you as a whole person in mind, body and spirit. Your naturopath will provide individualised treatments that are evidence-based, safe and effective to address your health concerns.

Naturopaths aim to educate and empower you to look after your health, prevent and minimise illness, and support your body’s capacity to heal and maintain balance for the best possible health. Naturopathy can be used with other medical and therapeutic techniques.
